Propane gas is very safe – thanks in large part to the stringent codes and regulations developed by members of the propane industry and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Propane will not ignite when combined with air unless the ignition source reaches 940°F. It is also nontoxic, produces minimal emissions, and is not harmful to either soil or water.
