Level 2 chargers are more expensive and may require an upgrading of your electrical panel. But they can charge your EV in eight hours or less.
Level 3 chargers are most commonly used in commercial applications as they are the most expensive option. But they come with a big benefit, being able to fully charge your EV in less than one hour! If your family has or plans on having more than one EV, this may be a good choice.
All EVs sold in the United States use a standard Level 2 charging plug, often known as a J Plug. However, not all EVs can use a Level 3 charger. AFC will make sure that your EV charger is right for your vehicle.
